Angie Lee, IIDA, AIA
Principal, Design Director - Interiors

Angie Lee is the firmwide Design Director of Interiors at FXFOWLE, a New York/Washington, D.C. design firm that has been cultivating skylines, streetscapes, and transformative interior environments for almost 40 years. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Bachelor of Architecture program, and a native of Seoul, Korea, with a Midwest upbringing, Lee has honed a unique perspective that is both empathetic and subversive. Tailoring her projects to global adaptations in Johannesburg, Tokyo, London, Kuwait, Dubai, and Bermuda while working with past firms such as SOM, Perkins Eastman and Gensler, her U.S. projects include high performance spaces for the New York Stock Exchange trading floor, NASDAQ’s Marketsite, CNN’s broadcast headquarters and studios, GE’s Crotonville hotel and learning center, and BBC America's Bryant Park headquarters. At FXFOWLE, Lee weaves an emotional narrative and storytelling prose into her layered, experiential interiors by reinterpreting archetypal roles of the classic architect as artist, designer, and technician.
