THE ART OF LIVING ENTERS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH THE INTERNATIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN ASSOCIATION
August 27, 2009, Coral Springs, FL – The Art of Living with Marilu Henner has entered into a strategic partnership with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) to expand education on the latest developments in the interior design arena through quality television programming.
A leader in the educational television genre, The Art of Living, is working with the IIDA, a professional networking and educational association committed to the advancement of interior design, to provide viewers across the country with expert-based information related to the organic and human elements of interior design.
"Whether it’s a new building or a renovation, the design of every environment needs to be effective, efficient, and work for the occupants of the space," said Jim Nicholas, Vice President of Production for The Art of Living. "The opportunity to collaborate with a recognized group of leaders in the field will help us to further educate and inform our viewers on relevant aspects of the interior design industry and the need for professional designers today."
"IIDA is proud to be a part of this initiative," said Cheryl S. Durst, CEO and Executive Vice President, IIDA. "Interior Designers enhance the lives of people in bold and more subtle ways, and this collaboration with Marilu Henner and her team enables the IIDA to share a glimpse into the future of design, and explore designers’ impact on social, global and economic issues. Plus, top designers will share some great tips, too."
