If you are an Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years formal Interior Design education, and are not NCIDQ-certified, you qualify as an Associate Member. Your application must include:
Below you will find a list of the IIDA yearly dues. All IIDA Memberships run on the Calendar year, January through December. All New Members and Members Reactivating their Memberships will have a onetime $75 Application fee added to their dues. Memberships are prorated on a quarterly basis. Full prices are listed below.
Associate $265
Designers who are actively engaged in the profession and meet the educational requirement for the NCIDQ, but have not yet completed all parts of the examination.
Inactive Associate $140
Must be a Member in good standing at the time of application for change in status and is unable to continue practicing in the field of interior design due to disability or illness, unemployment or relocation.
Associate II $390
Years 3-5 of membership at this level
Inactive Associate II $211
Must be a Member in good standing at the time of application for change in status and is unable to continue practicing in the field of interior design due to disability or illness, unemployment or relocation
Associate III $465
Six (6) years and above of membership at this level
Inactive Associate III $235
Must be a Member in good standing at the time of application for change in status and is unable to continue practicing in the field of interior design due to disability or illness, unemployment or relocation
Retired Associate III $193
Must be a Member in good standing at the time of application for change in status and is not practicing or intending to return to the practice of interior design
