Conrad Bonet, IIDA

President/CEO, Bonet Design Studio Inc.

As founder of the company, Conrad Bonet is responsible for client development, contract negotiations, and innovative design leadership to the company's diversified design staff. A graduate architect and licensed interior designer with over 20 years’ experience, his involvement with his designers and associates from the initial design stages through documentation has ensured continued growth and success to the firm. With offices in Miami and Costa Rica, the company, under Mr. Bonet’s leadership, has been the recipient of many design awards and has been published in several design magazines. Mr. Bonet also has served on the juries for several international design competitions and appeared on channel 7 news, as well as channel 51, in Miami.

As Creative Partner, Diego brings to the studio a freshness of vision that assures his clients - the benefit of innovation. Able to cross-reference influences and circumvent trends, Diego's design work is eclectic, always morphing, and invariably successful at moving design ahead. Noted for his professionalism and well-regarded for his distinctive taste and style, he is a world traveler who consciously exposes himself to the life and style of other cultures. Having enriched his own perspective, Diego brings it back to the world in the form of uniquely honed, well-considered, and exciting design.

Jaime Velez, FIIDA, ASID

Director in charge of Interior Design, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM)

With over 25 years of experience, Jaime Velez is a leader in the international Interior Design community, engaging in a hybrid combination of interior design, architecture and strategy. Mr. Velez oversees the conceptual and design approach for interior architecture, leading projects of all scales and complexity levels both in the U.S. and abroad. His work expands over four continents and seventeen countries worldwide. Velez has designed interiors across a wide range of disciplines including professional services, corporate, financial, residential, institutional, and workplace sector. He is currently an Appointee to the U.S. General Services Administration’s National Register of Peer Professionals for Design Excellence.
