This Award recognizes a Chapter that significantly advances and enhances the profession of Interior Design through excellent programs, increased membership, quality publications, and graphics.
This Award may be given to more than one Chapter in each category (small and large Chapter) per year. Chapters that have received this Award within the previous two years are not eligible to participate.
To be eligible for the Chapter of the Year Award, a Chapter must submit entries for Chapter Awards for Excellence in:
If your Chapter is not submitting a Master Binder, a separate binder for Chapter of the Year Award must be submitted.
This Award may be given to more than one Chapter in each category (small and large Chapter) per year, and Chapters that have received this Award within the previous two years are not eligible to participate. If in the opinion of the judges, no Chapter has met the established criteria, the Award will not be given.
This Award may be presented in two categories:
Chapters that are not compliant with IIDA Procedures, i.e., criteria for granting and maintaining a Chapter Charter, are not eligible for the Chapter of the Year Award. Submission statements must be 500 - 1000 words and no more than 10 pages of materials should be submitted in the required 8.5” x 11” binder.
That the combined programs, events and publications of the Chapter are truly exemplary and the Chapter’s programs were successfully implemented and their goals met.
