The current compliance period is January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013
IIDA Professional and Associate Members are required to complete and report 1.0 CEU (10 hours) of Continuing Education prior to December 31, 2013. All Professional and Associate Members (active and inactive) including Educators, IIDA Fellows and Chapter Officers, must adhere to IIDA compliance requirements.
IIDA accepts all IDCEC approved courses. It is the responsibility of each Member to maintain their own records. You may use the NCIDQ registry, but IIDA does not require you to do so.
If you have attended a course which was not IDCEC approved and wish to apply it towards your IIDA compliance you may submit it for review using an Individual Approval Reporting Form (IARF). Information on how to complete this can be found here, IARF Instructions.
The IARF is a unique member benefit that allows you to obtain CEU credit towards your IIDA compliance. Remember that a course approved through the IARF process may not qualify for state licensing requirements. Check with the local certification or licensing boards to ensure state or jurisdictional accreditation because there may be a separate submission process at the state level for course accreditation.
IIDA works diligently to ensure the highest standards of educational programming for our Members. Learn more about the requirements for CEU compliance.
