Dialogues on Design

October 19, 2017 - June 07, 2018
Event Type: National Event

The New York School of Interior Design’s popular series "Dialogues on Design" returns for its fourth year. This year’s conversations will be hosted by a distinguished group of moderators, including editors-in-chief of the Hearst Design Group, Sophie Donelson (House Beautiful), Whitney Robinson (Elle Décor), and Clinton Smith (Veranda).

"Dialogues on Design" has become a go-to event for designers and creative professionals to gain industry insight and network. Initially an event intended for designers to engage with their associates, "Dialogues on Design" has grown into an opportunity for emerging and top talents to hear from other notable professionals, led by an expert in the world of design.

Each session features celebrated interior designers including:

  • Steven Sills of Steven Sills Associates
  • Suzanne Rheinstein, owner of the furniture shop Hollyhock in Beverly Hills
  • Steven Gambrel, recently honored as one of “today’s greatest talents in Architecture and Design,” in Architectural Digest’s “AD 100”

Designers will discuss their approach to work: their inspirations and influences, their leadership and response to trends, and the evolution of the field.

A reception follows the conversation where attendees have the chance to meet and chat with the designers and moderators.
