Excellence in Graphics Award

This Award recognizes a Chapter’s excellence in visual communications that promote IIDA at the Chapter level. 

There are two awards in this category. Please specify for which award your entry should be considered.

1. Special Event Graphics
   brochures, flyers, save the dates
    
2. Overall Graphics Package
   announcements, newsletters, magazines, promotional items, etc.

Submissions should be on a single display board, flat and unfolded, not to exceed 30” x 42”. City Center or Campus Center programs may also be submitted, however, the governing Chapter will be the recipient of the Award.

Judging Criteria

Entries are judged on:

• concept
• creativity
• clarity
• overall appearance
• budget

In addition, entries should demonstrate compliance with established IIDA policies and graphic standards, which strive to maintain consistent branding at the International, Chapter, and City Center levels while leaving room for creativity. The IIDA logo fonts are:

• Berkeley (Serif font. See letters ID and words “International” and “Association” in logo.)
• Frutiger (Sans serif font. See letters I and A and words “Interior Design” in logo.) 

IIDA PMS colors are 5605 (dark green/grey) and 610 (lighter green/lemongrass). IIDA colors are to be used on official documents such as letterhead. They are suggested for use on other publicity material, but Chapters may use other colors as long as a professional brand is maintained.
