The IIDA Foundation is a not-for-profit (501c3), philanthropic organization whose primary mission is to advance Interior Design through education, research, and knowledge to benefit IIDA and the Interior Design profession.
The Foundation, under the guidance of its Board of Trustees, works in collaboration with IIDA to support the strategic plan of the Association.
This year’s Campaign closed Monday, December 1.
Due to requests from our Members, the funds raised from this year’s Campaign will again be directed to the NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund. To date, 117 IIDA Members from 26 Chapters have received financial assistance from the Foundation upon passing the exam.
In addition, this year, the Trustees have also added a second beneficiary – CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation), to support its development of accreditation standards for 2014-2015. CIDA’s mission is to provide the basis for future excellence in the interior design profession by setting standards for interior design education and accrediting programs that meet those standards. The IIDA Foundation is pleased to assist CIDA with its important work.
The Trustees of the IIDA Foundation are sincerely grateful to the IIDA Members and Chapters for their ongoing and constant support of this annual Campaign.
