The IIDA Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 philanthropic organization whose primary mission is to advance Interior Design through education, research, and knowledge to benefit IIDA and the Interior Design profession.
The Foundation, under the guidance of its Board of Trustees, works in collaboration with IIDA to support the strategic plan of the Association.
The 2016 Designing for the Future Campaign will begin Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, and continue through Friday, Nov. 18, 2016.
The funds raised from the 2016 campaign will support two initiatives. Due to requests from many IIDA Members, the funds raised from this year’s campaign will again be directed to the NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund. To date, 132 members from 27 chapters have received financial assistance from the Foundation upon passing the exam.
In addition, the Trustees have also added a new opportunity to provide programming for IIDA Members: Each chapter that meets its 2016 goal will be able to request 50 percent of their goal to fund a chapter educational program that directly benefits the members of the chapters.
The Trustees of the IIDA Foundation are sincerely grateful to IIDA Members and Chapters for their ongoing and constant support of this annual campaign.
