© 2010 Sponsored by Tandus, the IIDA Government Design Awards are a biennial competition that recognize designers’ abilities to push the boundaries when it comes to government design to create something fresh and innovative.

PURPOSE | To recognize and reward excellence in government design, and to encourage new ideas and techniques in the design and furnishing of government spaces. This competition honors outstanding government design in the following categories: Administration Buildings, Dormitory and Quarters, Healthcare and Hospitality.
WHO SHOULD ENTER | Any design professional practicing legally in their jurisdiction may submit entries.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS | The submitted project(s) – local, state, or Federal – must be sponsored, authorized, commissioned, produced, or supported by the Government of the United States of America and completed after January 1st, 2008.*
JUDGING CRITERIA | Submissions will be judged for design excellence, appropriateness of the design solution and the successful integration of the elements of design. Winners are determined by a jury of design and government professionals. The jury reserves the right to not select winners from the entries submitted for this competition.*
AWARDS | All winner of the competition will be announced at NeoCon East and in Perspective Magazine.
