IIDA / Contract Magazine Showroom and Booth Design Competition

With our partner, Contract magazine, this competition recognizes outstanding creativity in showroom and booth design each year at NeoCon. NeoCon is the largest design exposition and conference for commercial interiors in North America and will be held at the historic Merchandise Mart on June 14-16, 2010 in Chicago.

PURPOSE | To honor originality of design, visual impact, effective use of materials and the outstanding use of space, color, texture, lighting and graphics in showrooms and booths at NeoCon.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS | Only exhibitors at NeoCon are eligible to enter.

JUDGING CRITERIA | Judging will take place on Sunday, June 13, 2010 in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL.

AWARDS | Winners will be featured in Contract magazine.

DEADLINES | The deadline to enter the 15th Annual IIDA/Contract Magazine Showroom and Booth Design Competition is May 21, 2010.

The Winners of the 2009 Competition

The 2009 panel of judges consisted of the following IIDA Members:

The following winners were featured in an issue of Contract magazine.

• The Award for Showrooms of 3,000 sq. ft. or larger was presented to Nurture by Steelcase, designed by Libby Ferin and Tom Condon.
• The Award for Showrooms of less than 3,000 sq. ft. was presented to Leland International designed by Bruce Sienkowski and Frederick Hermann.
• The Award for Booths of 400 sq. ft. or larger was presented to Amtico International.
• A winner in the Booths of less than 400 sq. ft. was not awarded in 2009.
• The 2009 Best of Competition Award was presented to Nurture by Steelcase.
