Jonathan Perelman, VP of BuzzFeed Motion Pictures
Jonathan leads business management, partnership development, and BuzzFeed’s branded video team. Before BuzzFeed, he spent more than six years at Google as the global lead for industry relations. Pulling from his extensive experience at two of the world’s most influential brands, he shows audiences how to tell their story in a genuine, authentic, and meaningful way that generates word of mouth marketing at internet scale. With great energy and stage presence, he breaks down the tactics and mindset that propelled Buzzfeed from a small blog to a cultural phenomenon read by millions of people the world over. Perelman not only addresses how to create shareable, social content but also offers insights into how to maximize its reach and impact.
Frances Anderton is the Executive Producer and Host of KCRW's DnA: Design and Architecture, a radio show and blog exploring what matters in our design world. For many years she produced KCRW's award-winning current affairs shows, To The Point, and Which Way, LA? hosted by Warren Olney.
She writes for many publications and has served as LA correspondent for Dwell and The New York Times. Her most recent book is Grand Illusion: A Story of Ambition, and Its Limits, on L.A.’s Bunker Hill, based on a studio she co-taught with Frank Gehry and partners at USC School of Architecture. She is also a curator; since 2013 she has co-produced DIEM, a day of design talks for the West Hollywood Design District. She curated Sink or Swim: Designing for a Sea Change, an exhibition of photographs of resilient architecture, that was displayed December 2014-May 2015 at the Annenberg Space for Photography.
