The IIDA/Contract Magazine Showroom and Booth Design Competition seeks to honor originality of design, visual impact, effective use of materials and the outstanding use of space color, texture, lighting and graphics in showrooms and booths at NeoCon 2009.
IIDA judges will visit showrooms and booths between 8-11 a.m. on Sunday, June 14; after the judging, the winners of each category and a best of competition will be awarded on site.
Sunday, June 14, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago Ave., enter at Pearson St.
IIDA kicks off NeoCon 2009 with the Annual Business Meeting. Association Members and their guests are invited to this lively event to induct the 2009-2010 International Board of Directors, honor the new members of the College of Fellows and spotlight the recipients of the Association’s prestigious international honors and awards.

IIDA’s annual black-tie gala, COOL, celebrates international award-winning design and joins interior designers and manufacturers for a spectacular evening. Enjoy cocktails, conversation and a dinner feast with industry leaders and the award winners of IIDA’s 36th annual Interior Design Competition and the 17th Annual Will Ching Design Competition as they are honored in a presentation of the best design projects of the year.
