Royce Epstein



Royce Epstein is the director of the Design Segment for Mohawk Group. A veteran materials and product specialist, Epstein spent two decades working in A&D firms in Princeton, New Jersey, and Philadelphia before moving to New York City to work in product design and development with Mohawk. As the face of A&D, Royce will be sharing her passion and vision for design, cultural trends, and the meaning of materials in a broad context. She is heavily involved with the A&D community through collaboration, marketing, writing, judging, presenting, curating, teaching, and even DJing. In addition to her work at Mohawk, she also is the founder and editor of Repeat. No Repeat, a blog about products for interior design.


Jane Hallinan



Jane Hallinan is an interior designer at Fukui Architects in Pittsburgh, with five years of experience in the renovation of existing and historic buildings for commercial, educational, and hospitality clients. She was named the 2015 IIDA Member of the Year and is president of the IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter. Hallinan’s article, “A Special Announcement," was published in Interiors & Sources magazine in August 2015. A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she is frequently a guest juror for interior design studios at several local universities and has participated on the LaRoche College Curriculum Advisory Committee.
Scott MacMeekin



Scott MacMeekin is a senior interior designer at the Charlotte office of Gensler, with 13 years of commercial interior design experience. MacMeekin’s primary practice areas of expertise include financial service firms, media, and technology, with a deep portfolio of additional work on education, government, and science and technology projects. He currently assists his studio as a design experience leader, empowering teams through challenging and engaging design dialogue. MacMeekin is passionate about advocacy for interior design as well as professional development, and serves as the president of the IIDA Carolinas Chapter as well as the NCIDQ Grading Coordinator Committee Chair.
MacMeekin is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in interior design, and actively promotes student mentoring through IIDA as well as campus involvement at many universities in the Carolinas.
Alex Overton



Alexandra Overton is an interior designer at EwingCole in Philadelphia. She works on projects as a part of the Healthcare and Science and Technology teams. Overton is involved with multiple aspects of project work from materials and finishes selection through construction administration, but especially enjoys interacting with manufacturer’s reps and learning about the infinite products available to the A&D community. Overton earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the Cleveland Institute of Art and her Master of Science in interior architecture from Philadelphia University. Outside of her office obligations, she is involved with the IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter where she serves on the board as the director of the Philadelphia City Center. She prides herself on working closely with other local industry professionals on coordinating a variety of events that not only allow people to network and enjoy themselves, but also give back to the community, encourage aspiring design students, and promote interior design as a profession. Overton volunteers with the Charter High School of Architecture and Design, where she was once a student, and enthusiastically participates in as many competitions and contests within the Philadelphia design community as she can.
