In times of change, of paradigm shifts, of realigned priorities, there is a group of optimistic dreamers that relentlessly seek inspiration behind every. single. door. Students.
Help the next generation of designers explore the industry and give back to the profession by becoming an one-day mentor during the week of February 25 - March 1, 2013.
Mentoring opportunities are available to all design professionals - working or not, manufacturers’ reps, dealers and educators.

Mentors can register between December 5, 2012 and January 23, 2013. To register use the appropriate link below. Select which days you are available to Mentor and click submit. Even though you may choose as many days as you are available, IIDA will only pair you for one of those days.
IIDA Members: To participate login to the Members only section of this website and click the Student Mentoring link under Event Registration.
Non-IIDA Members: Register here. Please select only the days that you would be available to Mentor.
The goal of Student Mentoring Week (SMW) is to pair 1-2 IIDA Students with every Mentor to shadow them for one day at their office or firm. All pairings are random and based on availability and location. In some cases, Mentors may be contacted and asked if a second day of mentoring would be possible. In the rare case the a pairing cannot be found locally, a virtual meeting may be set up.
IIDA will be putting together a photos and video from this event to display online and at future events. All SMW Participants will be asked to take a photo of their Student/Mentor pairing during their visit or take 10-15 second video quote. These should capture the essence of the experience and can be serious, funny, creative or action shots. Please submit to students@iida.org.
