Sara Agrest

Sara Agrest IIDA, AIA, LEED AP
Senior Associate, Director of Interiors
Dattner Architects

Sara Agrest's interior design focus has been largely influenced by her growing up in Manhattan, where she became exposed to a rich and diverse amalgam of architectural interiors. Guided by an acute awareness of a space’s power to affect mood and behavior, she oversees interior design for a variety of the firm’s high-profile healthcare, office, commercial and residential projects. She seeks to gain a holistic understanding of how users engage with their environment through nurturing in-depth relationships with clients and leading a design process informed by a comprehensive synthesis of aspirations, use-patterns, and technical and programmatic requirements. Sara holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and studied at the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam.

Joseph White

Director of Workplace Strategy, Design + Management
Herman Miller

In work and craft, Joseph White joins disparate elements into coherent constructs that often belie their complexity. In work he serves as director of workplace strategy, design, and management for Herman Miller. In craft, he is a self-taught hand weaver, compelled by color, texture, rhythm and the beauty of simple machines. While earning a Bachelor of Science in interior design from the University of Tennessee, his studies gravitated toward human-environment interactions, nonverbal communication, and color theory. Joseph previously practiced as a Certified Interior Designer in New York City and San Francisco. His experience includes work for a broad range of clients from the tech world to industry giants and regular speaking engagements on advanced planning strategies for the future of work.
