With more than six years at Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, a leading architecture, interior design and graphics firm based in California, and fifteen years in corporate America, Viveca brings a broad depth of experience including a background in Anthropology to her design responsibilities. Project types have ranged from remodel to new construction for both the private and public sector. As an Associate in the firm she has served in various capacities providing interior design services and holds the role of project interior designer, project manager and intern coordinator. Viveca is involved in all phases of the design process.
Outside of Carrier Johnson, Viveca is actively involved in the design community. She is currently Incoming President for the IIDA International Board of Directors and has served as a trustee for the IIDA Foundation. Viveca is a director on the board of the San Diego Architectural Foundation and a member of the Art Institute of San Diego’s Program Advisory Council, and is a member of Editorial Advisory Boards for both Perspective and Interiors and Sources magazines. Viveca has judged many international interior design competitions and has been featured in numerous publications. In 2004, she was recognized as one of ten designers to watch in the country as part of the IIDA 10 year anniversary celebration, for her project work, her service to the community, and her commitment to professionalism.
