Excellence in Community Service Award


This Award recognizes projects that demonstrate the value of design – how the practice of Interior Design makes a difference in the community. 

Entry Details

Chapters may submit up to three projects. Submit each in a separate section within the binder. City Center or Campus Center programs may also be submitted, however, the governing Chapter will be the recipient of the Award.

The submission statement should be between 350 and 1000 words. Materials (no more then ten pages) should be submitted in an 8.5” x 11” binder.

Judging Criteria

Entries are judged on: 

  • achievement of goals
  • hours and budget spent
  • level of fundraising for profession or donations realized
  • publicity for community and/or Chapter
  • personnel involved
  • printed materials supporting information
