The IIDA Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 philanthropic organization whose primary mission is to advance Interior Design through education, research, and knowledge to benefit IIDA and the Interior Design profession.

The Foundation, under the guidance of its Board of Trustees, works in collaboration with IIDA to support the strategic plan of the Association.

2018 Designing for the Future Campaign

The 16th annual Designing for the Future Campaign, was held from Wednesday September 12 through Tuesday, November 27.

The funds raised from the 2018 campaign will support three vital foundation programs:

  • IIDA Catalyst Grant: The IIDA Catalyst Grant funds projects that move our chapters forward, enriches our organization, and promotes the association's mission of advancing excellence in interior design.
  • NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund: To date, 168 members from 29 chapters have received financial assistance from the Foundation upon passing the exam.
  • 2019 Texas Oklahoma Chapter’s IIDA Student Conference: Funds from the campaign will go to sponsoring five IIDA Student Members for an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2019 Texas Oklahoma Chapter’s IIDA Student Conference, Feb. 27 - March 1 at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas. For each chapter that meets its 2018 goal, they will be able to nominate two IIDA Students for a chance to attend. All nominated students will be entered a drawing, and five IIDA students will be randomly selected to receive the all-expenses paid trip for the conference.

The trustees of the IIDA Foundation are sincerely grateful to IIDA Members and Chapters for their ongoing and constant support of this annual campaign.
