Giorgio Borruso, Principal/Founder
Giorgio Borruso Design

Internationally renowned Italian architect, Giorgio Borruso, is founder and principal of Giorgio Borruso Design, an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm creating innovative works ranging from architecture to interiors and industrial design. Under his leadership, Giorgio Borruso Design has developed projects, collections and unique brand statements for such clients as Caruso Affiliated, C.J. Segerstrom & Sons, Destiny USA, Fila, Miss Sixty, Fornaria, Snaidero, Paul Frank, Zu+Elements, DriversSelect and bebe. His work has been seen throughout the world in over a thousand publications, receiving over one hundred international awards in architecture and design.

Borruso relocated his offices to Los Angeles in 2000 after living and working in Italy, Spain and Germany. He has taught and conducted research at universities in Italy and in the U.S. He is currently on the advisory boards of DDI Magazine and A.R.E. and served as a juror for Architectural Record, India's VM&RD, Contract and IIDA. He is a frequent guest lecturer at universities and conferences globally.

Patrick McEneany, Creative Director
BMW Group DesignworksUSA 

Patrick McEneany is a Creative Director in Product Design at BMW Group DesignworksUSA, a strategic design consultancy providing creative services to the BMW Group and some of the world's most successful companies. Patrick joined DesignworksUSA to support a growing competency in environmental design, and has contributed to a wide range of programs including furniture and appliance design, corporate plane interiors, cruise ships, retail spaces, and prefabricated housing.

Prior to joining DesignworksUSA, Patrick was a project manager on AIA-award-winning projects for Daly Genik Architects, including a charter school, public parks buildings, and commercial interiors. Patrick worked closely with Greg Lynn and the United Architects teams on competitions for the BMW Central Building, the Arc of the World Museum, and the World Trade Center Redevelopment. As a graduate student at UCLA, his work was exhibited at the Venice Biennale and published in Architectural Digest. Patrick holds a master's degree in architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Cooper Union in New York City.

Dan Menchions, IIDA, Principal

Dan is an international award-winning interior designer with a unique combination of organizational and creative skills, a sound business sense and understanding of market needs. He had a 23-year track record of achieving results for his clients.

Dan is also a leader among his peers, as a past member of the Board of Governors for the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO), a member of the Advisory Board of Food Service and Hospitality magazine, and nominee for the Premier's Awards for Outstanding Ontario College Graduates while at Ontario's Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology. The Premier's Awards honor the important social and economic contribution college graduates make to Ontario.

Ben Watson, Executive Creative Director
Herman Miller, Inc.

Ben is the Executive Creative Director at Herman Miller, the global leader in furnishings for working, living and healing environments. In his role, Watson manages the creative content of products, communications and facilities, curating the brand experience for its clients and customers.

Ben joined Herman Miller in 2010 from Moroso, where he served as CEO of its North American subsidiary. His experience includes over a decade at Vitra, including tenure as Global Marketing Director. He has also worked as the Global Creative Director for Nike’s Apparel Division, and as a private consultant. Ben lives and works in New York City.
