student design competition 2018

The Program

The IIDA Student Mentoring Program is one of the most dynamic mentoring programs in the Interior Design industry. Throughout the country, IIDA pairs more than 1,000 students and mentors, taking students out of the classroom and into the real world of interior design.

IIDA will match design students (mentees) with mentors – interior design professionals, manufacturer representatives, dealers, and interior design educators – for one day of job shadowing. IIDA pairs students with mentors based on location.

After students and mentors are paired, they must coordinate the date of the visit to take place during the month of March 2018. Mentors are responsible for choosing a date.
