Leadership Award of Excellence Honorees

Peter and Lynn are dedicated volunteers with unwavering commitment to the interior design profession. For more than two decades, Peter Grimley and Lynn McGregor have worked tirelessly as co-chairs of ARIDO’s (Association of Registered Interior Designers) Legislative Committee in pursuit of practice act. Both individuals have served as Presidents of ARIDO, are Fellows, and were instrumental in achieving “Titles Act” for the Association. They are both passionate advocates for the value of good design.

Peter Grimley’s work to advance Ontario’s interior design community began after ARIDO was granted “Registration Act,” in 1984. He has served on numerous Association committees, and was President of the Interior Designers of Canada Foundation for many years.

Lynn McGregor is also ARIDO’s representative on the Design Industry Advisory Committee, and Ontario’s Building Advisory Council. Her 35 years experience in business has provided knowledge and perspective that she is proud to offer both clients and recipients of her volunteer time.
