IIDA Announces Winners of the 11th Annual Student Design Competition

CHICAGO  — The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Student Design Competition, sponsored by OFS and Carolina. The annual competition allows design students to highlight their creativity and vision while also gathering insights and experience with leaders of the industry. This year’s design challenge asked entrants to design an innovative pediatric primary care clinic focusing on behavioral health.

The Interior Design Competition, celebrating its landmark anniversary, honors creativity and innovation within the industry, while the Will Ching Design Competition highlights outstanding commercial design from firms with ten employees or fewer.

IIDA Announces Recipient of Inaugural IIDA ICON Award

Interior Designers in Nebraska Pass Historic Practice Rights Legislation

LINCOLN, Neb. (March 6, 2024) – Nebraska has become the 29th state and 31st U.S. jurisdiction to institute reasonable regulation of the interior design profession. Legislative Bill 16 (LB 16) was passed by the Nebraska State Senate and signed into law by Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen on March 5, 2024.

CHICAGO — With a focus on the “future of experience,” IIDA returns to this year's NeoCon with an exciting lineup of keynotes, panels, roundtables, and celebrations to empower its global membership — and the commercial interior design industry at large — as we shape the future direction of the built environment. The NeoCon conference is held annually at The Mart (222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza) in downtown Chicago, with IIDA programming starting Sunday, June 9, leading into the three-day conference taking place from Monday, June 10 to Wednesday, June 12.
